FoodMap visualizes SNAP-accepting grocers, food banks, and community meal sites on an interactive map, with real-time availability data crowdsourced by users. College students and food-insecure residents can filter by distance, hours, dietary restrictions, and resource type to find the nearest reliable food access point. The project addresses food insecurity as a civic infrastructure problem by making fragmented local resources discoverable and transparent.
